ALA relaunches, goes black on white, sells t-shirts
A List Apart relaunches, sells T-shirts
A List Apart relaunches, with a clean look and t-shirts made for CSS/web standards geeks. I’m especially taken with the orange one, with a clenched fist headed your direction, and the letters XHTML on the knuckles.
Jeffery Zeldman’s commentary on the makeover is worth a read. They’re being hosted at Textdrive. Worth a look if you’re considering a hosting company, particularly if you are looking for something friendly to host a blog.
I would expect they’re both competent and able to handle traffic, as ALA is not exactly a lightweight when it comes to traffic.
Textdrive is also offering StrongSpace, a monthly service to store all your valuable digital goods online, transferred via secure FTP. Nice price, friendly interface, and a product that does one thing: provide secure storage.
